Two years ago, we started the Hurley House with a vision of making a space that created connection in so many ways: by building community, hosting retreats, and offering an affordable space to organizations doing work we admired. Since then, we have exceeded beyond our wildest expectations. Here are some highlights:

• Over 300 people have stayed at the house!

• Over 150 people have volunteered in some capacity!

• We hosted 3 meditation retreats and 2 “parts work” group retreats

• We hosted 12 community weekends and 3 “skill builds” — renovating 9 bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, the kitchen, and numerous outdoor spaces

• We built partnerships with 3 New York based non-profits that support marginalized communities: All Kings, All Queens, and Remix Culture — offering them the space for their weekend retreats for minimal charge

• We established ourselves as a non-profit organization and began to build the volunteer and organizational infrastructure to sustain us for years to come

As we begin to prepare for 2026, we hope to continue these efforts, building the organization, renovating the house, and putting it to service to connect and support a huge variety of folks. (You can read about our mission here.)

To support our efforts, we are raising funds this fall. All donations will go to support the operations of the non-profit organization and our efforts to restore the house, for use as a place of connection and service. Please see below for details!
